Our mission
Fondation Groupe Primonial was created at the end of May 2020. It continues the work of Fondation Financière de l’Echiquier in promoting equality of opportunity and a more inclusive society by supporting action in the areas of education, health, and social and professional integration.
As well as providing financial support to charities, the Foundation is also a real company project that allows staff at Groupe Primonial to come together in a commitment of solidarity.
Through its philanthropic actions, Fondation Groupe Primonial is fully in line with the commitments made under the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Projects funded by the Foundation contribute to six of these Goals :

Engagement
Bringing staff at Groupe Primonial together around values of solidarity is a key goal of the Foundation.
Many forms of engagement are available to staff: a bespoke range of choices that can be adapted to the needs of all!
Participation in a solidarity workshop,

Sponsoring a student from Maisons des Jeunes Talents,
•
Becoming a member of the Engagement Committee,
•
Giving time to a skills sponsorship project in support of the Foundation’s partner charities.
Structure
Fondation Groupe Primonial was created in 2020 to bring together, extend and intensify engagement and support activities across the various parts of the group, particularly Financière de l’Échiquier and Primonial REIM.
Operating under the umbrella of Fondation de France, Fondation Groupe Primonial benefits from the oversight and support of France’s leading philanthropic network.
Governance
Strategy Committee
Fondation Groupe Primonial is managed by a Strategy Committee which sets its overall strategy. The committee is chaired by Stéphane Vidal, Chairman of Groupe Primonial and of the Foundation, and is made up of representatives of Group subsidiaries and external advisers who are experts in the areas where the Foundation is active.
The Strategy Committee delegates to the Commitment Committees the power to decide on the allocation of financial support to associations.

Engagement Committees
Engagement Committees covering the various action areas meet several times each year. Each committee is made up of Groupe Primonial staff and an external expert. They consider preselected projects put forward by the Foundation team and decide on the level and nature of support to be given.

The Foundation team is in permanent contact with associations to identify and select the most interesting and relevant projects with its areas of intervention. It is also attentive to the needs of associations to offer engagement missions tailored to the expectations of Group employees.
